Wednesday, June 16, Joseph di Pasquale will speak at the Seminar "The Milanese way to the architecture High Rise Buildings" organized by the Department BEST of the Faculty of Architecture and Society among the Design Laboratory, Joseph di Pasquale works as a teacher. 
The Department BEST of the Faculty of Architecture and Society of the Politecnico di Milano, within the Design Laboratory, is organizing a seminar entitled "The Milanese way to the architecture of High Rise Buildings". 
The Pirelli Tower and the Velasca Tower, two of the most representative examples of Milanese architecture developed in height, will be described and analyzed with architects, structural engineers and critics. 
For the Pirelli skyscraper, will speak Cesare Maria Casati, a pupil of Gio Ponti and co-author of the project, and Renato Sarno, head of the study that RSG has been responsible for restoration after the crash of 2002. 
The Velasca tower will be introduced by Epifanio Li Calzi architect and collaborator of Ernesto Nathan Rogers, and commented on by Bico Belgiojoso, son of Louis Belgiojoso, one of the members of the group of designers in Milan BBPR, who in 1956 invented the tower. 
Next, the architect Joseph Pasquale will make an overview of tall buildings built all over the world. 
At the debate, moderated by Professor Lugi Chiara, will also participate Piercarlo Palermo, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Society, Angelo Torricelli, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, Giuseppe Turchini, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Emilio Pizzi, director of the Department BEST 
In the classroom will be exposed sketch models of the projects developed by the students of the Laboratory of Design for the area of Scalo Farini, in Milan.
